Environmental Planning Expertise

Lanpro is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Planning expert to join our team as an Associate Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and leading projects in environmental impact assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects in environmental impact assessment, including EIA management and coordination, screening, scoping, and the preparation of Environmental Statements.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including presenting at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders.
  • Provide expert negotiation and commercial skills, coupled with strong commercial knowledge.
  • Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the current UK planning system, including legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or masters in environmental science or equivalent.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, and EIA planning.
  • Strong client management skills, including the ability to present at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders.
  • Expert negotiation and commercial skills, coupled with strong commercial knowledge.
  • Excellent project management skills, coupled with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to review colleagues' work, providing constructive feedback.
