Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize our Enterprise Data Platform to meet evolving business needs
  • Leverage AI and Machine Learning innovations within our central data platform
  • Create data models and metadata systems to enhance data consumer productivity
  • Conduct data and process discovery on source systems to improve data acquisition processes
  • Ensure that technical implementations perform against agreed performance metrics
  • Recommend new analytical tools to align with our analytics strategy
  • Research and introduce emerging technologies to benefit the organization

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience with SQL, DBT, and Snowflake
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for developing applications and data pipelines
  • Experience in hybrid cloud-enabled end-to-end data architecture
  • Strong knowledge of analytical model design and development
  • Excellent communication skills for discussing business processes with non-technical users
  • Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment
  • Passion for transforming large, complex data sets into actionable information
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture principles

Desirable Skills

  • Experience implementing Data Vault on Snowflake
  • Passion for AI and exploring its potential in corporate and life sciences
  • Experience with AWS/Azure platforms for Data & Analytics
