About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Autism Team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in Autism assessments, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive Autism assessments for children and young people, using evidence-based approaches and NICE guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including education and healthcare professionals, to deliver integrated services and achieve excellent outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating speech and language therapy, to support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Participate in staff engagement forums and contribute to the design and implementation of flexible working practices, ensuring a positive work-life balance.
