Job Summary
Dimensions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to an individual with complex needs. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering independence, promoting daily living skills, and ensuring the individual's safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to the individual, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, and household chores.
- Monitor and maintain a safe environment, ensuring the individual's physical and emotional needs are met.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the individual, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Participate in risk management and behaviour support planning to ensure the individual's needs are met.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and personality disorders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing 2:1 support as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
