Support Worker for Young Lady with Learning Disability

Empowering Independence

As a Support Worker for Dimensions, you will be supporting a young lady in her early 30s who has a learning disability and a personality disorder. Your role will involve empowering her to be herself and achieve her goals, while also providing daily living support and night support.

Daily Living Support:

  • Provide friendly verbal prompts around personal care, medication administration, and household tasks including cleaning and laundry.
  • Support her to maintain a healthy sleeping pattern and ensure her safety at night.

Specialised Positive Behaviour Support:

Specialised positive behaviour support and forensic training will be provided, but it's essential that you have experience supporting people with complex behavioural, emotional, and/or mental health needs.

Set Shift Patterns:

Enjoy the benefits of consistent set hours with opportunities for overtime. Your shift patterns will be:

  • Sunday Night: 9pm – 8am
  • Monday Night: 9pm – 8am
