Senior Project Manager

This exciting opportunity is for a high-performing senior project manager to lead a unique project with over 200 million pounds of investment in our second-largest wastewater treatment works. This will directly contribute to Thames Water's Capital Delivery programme and Turnaround plan. As a client-side senior project manager, you will be responsible for the investment from initial design through construction and completion. Your overall accountability will be for project programme, cost, and quality, and you will lead the project team to meet project objectives. You will establish a project health and safety culture and lead with a health and safety mindset. You will work collaboratively with our external supply chain and drive contractor performance. You will support the definition of solutions to meet the project objectives and be responsible for preparing a clear business case. You will effectively liaise with the relevant town planning authorities and critical internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running and timely project delivery. You will contribute to steering project-wide continuous improvement and delivering against stretching targets. You will commercially manage all contract matters to achieve the optimal outcome for Thames Water. You will take accountability for governance compliance throughout the project's lifecycle, leading to a smooth transition.
