We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Worker to join our team at Mountain Healthcare, a leading provider of clinical forensic healthcare services. As a Crisis Worker, you will play a critical role in providing support and care to victims of sexual assault, empowering them to feel in control and confident throughout the forensic process.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a supportive or customer-focused environment, with excellent IT skills and basic administration abilities. You will be required to maintain confidentiality and have a kind, caring nature. A UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel across SARC locations.
As a Crisis Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a high standard of care and support to service users
- Assisting with the preparation and collection of forensic evidence
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment to prevent DNA contamination
- Liaising with other agencies to manage service user pathways
- Acting as an advocate for service users during their time at the SARC
