London, Greater London, United Kingdom Circuit Mind Full time
About Circuit Mind

We are a deep-tech startup that enables the next generation of hardware inventions by automating electronic circuit board design. Our product creates high-quality systems at lightning speed, pushing beyond what is thought to be possible.

Electronic circuit boards are crucial for current and future inventions - space travel, medical robotics, autonomous transportation, augmented reality, bio-engineering. However, designing them is an extremely manual process. At Circuit Mind, we believe this should change, and we're on a mission to fix it, triggering the future of hardware design.

We empower our customers to bring better hardware products to market faster and at lower costs through our innovative software engine for circuit boards. This takes requirements as inputs and automatically outputs a complete design ready for manufacture. Your role is to lead the development of new capabilities for our amazing product.

Mission Statement: Craft the best solutions to user problems.

Responsibilities
  • Deeply understand user needs and challenges, which requires technical knowledge. You'll conduct user interviews and collaborate with our internal team of seasoned engineers who can explain complex concepts.
  • Understand existing product capabilities and business strategy (including target markets, sales approach, pricing, distribution, ecosystem).
  • Lead the creation of solutions to user needs and wants by leveraging inputs from our talented software development team and UX contractors. This includes formulating hypotheses upfront, measuring success, and iterating on the solution.
  • Prioritize solution development based on business strategy and customer requests. Communicate your reasoning to the rest of the team effectively.
  • Project manage solution delivery, including check-ins with the software team, managing plan changes, performing QA, and communicating new solutions to users.
  • Contribute to defining product strategy.
Qualifications
  • A background in electronics engineering or experience in electronic circuit board design.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a product manager of a software product.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • A self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Nice to have: experience in an early-stage startup environment.
Benefits
  • Collaboration with a world-class team.
  • An above-market salary (£100,000 - £110,000) and meaningful equity.
  • 25 days of annual holidays plus bank holidays.
  • Flexible working hours with two days a week in the office.
  • 5 weeks per year to work anywhere you want in the world.
  • London Bridge office.
  • Extended parental leave.
  • A budget for learning and development to support your professional growth.

We value diversity and foster an inclusive environment. If you require any accommodations due to an additional necessity or disability, please let us know so we can adjust the interview process accordingly. We also respect your time and strive to maintain a straightforward hiring process.
