We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Fleet and Equipment team as a Senior Vehicle Preparation Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and motivate a small team of Vehicle Preparation Operatives to prepare ambulances to the highest standards for responding to emergency calls.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of Vehicle Preparation Operatives to ensure ambulances are prepared to the highest standards.
- Implement and maintain high standards of infection prevention and control in the preparation of ambulances.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English and Maths.
- Leadership or supervisory qualification or equivalent experience.
- Full driving licence with maximum 6 penalty points.
- Holds category C1 on driving licence, or obtain (training can be provided in house).
- Infection Prevention Control qualification.
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience of working within a public service or customer care environment.
