We're on the hunt for a talented Plumbing Educator to join our dynamic team at the Newcastle Training Centre. In this pivotal role, you'll drive exceptional teaching and learning in plumbing and gas standards, equipping apprentices with the skills and confidence to excel at Level 3 and achieve their goals.

  • Craft compelling lesson plans and deliver engaging teaching sessions for theoretical and practical Level 3 courses, meeting awarding organization expectations.
  • Conceive and implement innovative teaching resources and activities to invigorate the curriculum.
  • Partner with colleagues to orchestrate successful workshops and teaching events, guaranteeing smooth operations.
  • Ensure a positive and secure learning atmosphere, prioritizing apprentice welfare and safety.
  • Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing their needs with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Offer individualized support and mentorship to apprentices, facilitating their growth and readiness for assessments.
  • Efficiently manage administrative duties, staying current with industry trends and best practices through continuous professional development.
Key Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (NVQ3 or equivalent).
  • Active Gas ACS certification and Unvented Hot Water qualification.
  • Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to pursue it).
  • Excellent math and English abilities at Level 2 or above.
  • Proven proficiency in the plumbing and gas industry.
