Domestic Assistant Opportunity

Shaw healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Figbury Lodge. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize rooms, including furnishings, in assigned work areas.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care.
  • Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families, and colleagues, demonstrating good interpersonal and working relationship skills.
  • Work independently, using a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene within the home.

We offer full training, including our leadership programme, to support your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw. No previous experience is necessary, and we are happy to work with you to help you become an excellent member of our team.

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Working Hours: as and when required
