This challenging role is perfect for experienced professionals who are passionate about infrastructure quality control and have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on MTO projects and municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site asphalt sampling using the Quarter Master method and deliver paving materials for quality control and laboratory testing as per MTO specifications.
  • Monitor compaction of asphalt mats using Nuclear Densometers and conduct aggregate sampling and compaction tests on MTO projects.
  • Verify material quantities, tack coat application, temperatures, lift thickness, and surface deficiencies during site visits.
  • Collaborate with discipline team members, sub-contractors, clients, and agencies to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on MTO projects and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Hold CCIL/CSA or equivalent certification to test concrete (T).
  • Possession of Road Construction Senior/Junior Inspector (rcsi, rcji) Technology/Technician is an asset.
  • A valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary.

A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience.
