Your Key Responsibilities within the Team
  • Conduct on-site asphalt sampling using the Quarter Master method, label samples properly, and deliver paving materials such as loose mix asphalt, tack coat, PGAC, and granular materials for quality control and laboratory testing as per MTO specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with MTO policies, standards, and specifications, including the sample lot system, bagging, and tagging procedures.
  • Monitor compaction of asphalt mats using Nuclear Densometers to ensure compliance with MTO specifications. Conduct aggregate sampling and compaction tests on MTO projects following industry standards.
  • Verify material quantities, tack coat application, temperatures, lift thickness, surface deficiencies, and report any concerns to clients during site visits.
  • Collaborate with discipline team members, sub-contractors, clients, and agencies. Train staff on sampling, testing best practices, and procedures.

What We Offer:
