Swimming Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at Parkwood Holdings Limited. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities, promoting our swimming lesson brand, and providing exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver swimming lessons to students of varying ages and abilities, adhering to the Swim England Learn to Swim framework.
  • Ensure teaching, customer care, and health and safety standards are maintained in line with company policy.
  • Maximize the retention of swimming lessons participants through quality standards, motivation, and customer care.
  • Establish strong communication links between yourself, the swim manager, reception, and duty management.
  • Deal with customer enquiries, feedback, and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Hold an SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Candidates with an SEQ Level 1 Assistant Teaching qualification will be considered with a view to train to complete their SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification.
  • The NRASTC or NPLQ qualification is desirable, but successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of the role.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with both children and adults in a teaching setting.
  • Be able to gain acceptance and respect from colleagues and customers.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and teachers.
  • Be flexible in working hours when required.
  • Be passionate about improving our swim lesson programme and providing excellent service to swimmers and customers.
