Project Engineer Opportunity

TARCG - The Aviation Recruitment & Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to coordinate engineering activities and provide a seamless interface between engineering, project management, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate customer requirements into measurable engineering terms in accordance with the project Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
  • Define engineering project deliverables and manage design project data
  • Hold and document timely design reviews, including formal PDR and CDR
  • Oversee overall system design and manage design resources in accordance with ETs and project WBS
  • Ensure team members adhere to company procedures and processes
  • Manage design hours and costs to ensure design is completed on time and within budget
  • Liaise with Project Managers and contribute to the continuous development of business processes and systems
Requirements:
  • 3D CAD skills, preferably with SolidWorks (adaptation training will be provided)
  • Knowledge of drawing standards, including BS 8888, geometrical tolerancing, and welding specification
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels, including suppliers and customers
  • Ability to adapt to different software and resolve basic computer problems with minimal assistance
  • Good report writing and project information recording skills
Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree
  • IEng member of a relevant professional Institution
