About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Information Reporting Analyst to join our team at Draken Europe. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in enabling and supporting the delivery of accurate data and reporting that feed into business intelligence in the enterprise.

Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain respected relationships with business users and owners, vendors of software packages, and technical service providers to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work reflects the company's commitment to safety and adheres to our policy.
  • Collaborate with the BI Manager to analyze requested data and BI work, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Act as a deputy to the BI and Reporting Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity and smooth operation.
  • Mentor and enhance the skills of team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Process support tickets for BI/Reporting Issues in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Work on API processes that retrieve data from external systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Partner with the Application Support Team to assist with system upgrades and perform analysis to determine knock-on effects to the Reporting and BI estate.
  • Provide day-to-day support and oversight of the Reporting and BI estate, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Work with the BI Manager to prioritize workstacks and determine key objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT department members on department-wide projects, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Work with business departments to fulfill reporting and BI requirements, ensuring seamless integration and data flow.
  • Provide training in the use of reports, dashboards, and BI Tools, empowering team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the flow of data from applications to the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Experience in Report Writing from large information systems, with skills in SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and PowerBI.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases and writing SQL queries in a SQL Server environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows Server.
  • Mandatory Experience using:
    • SQL Server Analysis Services (design and development)
    • SQL Server Integration Services (design and development)
    • Advanced Excel knowledge
    • PowerBI
    • Use of SQL Server Management Studio
    • Use of Azure Data Factory
  • Desirable Experience:
    • SharePoint Online and SharePoint Lists
    • Implementing AI automation robots
    • Microsoft Power Automate / Power Apps
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Python
  • Service Delivery: Understanding of ITIL management principles.
  • Use of Office 365 toolset.
