Senior Pricing Analyst Opportunity

Hawksworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join their Actuarial Pricing team in the UK. This is a permanent position that offers a great opportunity for career growth and development.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Actuarial Pricing team to develop and implement pricing strategies for the company's general insurance products. This will involve analyzing data, developing models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that pricing decisions are informed and effective.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and algorithms to ensure accurate and efficient pricing of general insurance products
  • Collaborate with the Actuarial Pricing team to develop and implement pricing strategies that meet business objectives
  • Analyze data and market trends to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including underwriters, actuaries, and business leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes that impact pricing and risk management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Actuarial qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent working knowledge of actuarial methods and principles, ideally in a pricing or reserving context
  • Knowledge of the general insurance regulatory environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office or equivalent applications
  • Experience of planning and managing projects from inception to completion within business timelines
