Senior Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Aberdeen. As a seasoned professional in the field of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our workshop facility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of workshop technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Coordinate workshop activities to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of ROV systems.
- Oversee the assembly, testing, and commissioning of new ROV units.
- Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and equipment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize ROV performance and functionality.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients both onsite and remotely.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a supervisory role within the ROV industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client support or training purposes.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the UK.
