About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workshop Supervisor to join our client's team based in Aberdeen. As the Senior Workshop Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our workshop facility, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the timely and efficient assembly, maintenance, and repair of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and supervise a team of workshop technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  2. Coordinate workshop activities to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of ROV systems.
  4. Oversee the assembly, testing, and commissioning of new ROV units.
  5. Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and equipment.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize ROV performance and functionality.
  7. Provide technical support and assistance to clients both onsite and remotely.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  3. Willingness to travel occasionally for client support or training purposes.
  4. Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the UK.
