Job Overview

A dynamic role that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all food waste is disposed of correctly, and working closely with our chefs and kitchen team to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
  • Ensure that pots, crockery, and utensils are properly washed and stored
  • Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and replenishment
  • Serve and replenish food from counters and steamtables and break down stations at the end of meal periods

Requirements:

  • Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Willing to learn new skills, including Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, and Food Safety
  • Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential
