Senior Radiographer Team Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Therapy Radiographer to join our team as a Band 7 Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of radiographers and providing expert advice on radiotherapy procedures.
The department treats patients from across East London and Essex, using advanced technologies such as RapidArc, IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, and 4DCT. The team participates in clinical trials and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including Halcyon Linac, Edge + unit, and Siemens wide-bore CT Scanner.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be accountable for their own professional actions and will be recognized as an expert and team leader in their specific field. They will plan and deliver complex radiotherapy procedures to a high level of accuracy and work within departmental protocols to provide optimum care.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent formal qualification, HCPC registration as a Therapy Radiographer, and a minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience with specialist training, knowledge, and experience to master's level or equivalent. They will also have excellent communication and people management skills.
