The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Education Specialist to join our team. As an ITT Training Mentor, you will play a critical role in supporting trainees in achieving their Early Years Teacher Status. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular skills reviews with trainees to identify areas for development and create personalized training plans.
  • Observing trainees in workplace and placement settings, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Developing and delivering training programs tailored to the needs of our trainees.
  • Assessing and providing feedback to learners using our online system.
  • Supporting the delivery of training using approved resources and materials.
  • Providing mental health and wellbeing support to trainees.
  • Coordinating placements and ensuring that trainees have access to a range of educational settings.

About You:

  • You will have up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years sector and a proven track record of supporting trainees in achieving their goals.
  • You will be able to develop strong relationships with employers, mentors, and trainees, motivating and supporting them to achieve their best.
  • You will have excellent IT skills and be comfortable working with online systems.
  • You will hold a full driving license and be willing to travel to different settings.
  • You will be highly motivated and able to work independently, using your initiative to drive results.
