About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Early Years professional to join our team as a Personal Tutor. The successful candidate will have significant knowledge and expertise in Early Years education, with a passion for supporting trainees in achieving their Early Years Teacher Status. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular skills reviews with trainees to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored training plans.
  • Completing observations in workplace and placement settings, collaborating with mentors and lead trainers.
  • Designing and delivering individualized training programs to meet the needs of trainees.
  • Providing constructive feedback and assessment to learners using an online system.
  • Supporting the delivery of training using approved resources to cover curriculum themes.
  • Offering mental health and wellbeing support to trainees.
  • Ensuring that necessary placements are arranged and attended, suggesting alternative settings if required.

About You:

  • You'll have up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years industry and be able to develop strong professional relationships with employers, mentors, and trainees.
  • You'll be able to motivate learners and ensure they meet deadlines.
  • You'll possess strong IT skills and be willing to work with online systems.
  • You'll hold a full driving license, have your own vehicle, and be willing to travel to different settings.
  • You'll have high levels of motivation and the ability to work independently.
