Homemaking Support Specialist

The estimated salary for this position is around $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Homemaking Support Specialist, you will be responsible for performing light housekeeping tasks, preparing meals, and completing environmental risk assessments for clients. You will also develop and implement care plans with the Coordinator and promote the goals and values of VON Canada (Ontario).
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school graduate level of education and 2-3 years' experience working with children, seniors, and persons with disabilities. Household management or customer service experience is preferred, as well as a personal vehicle, driver's license, and vehicle insurance. You will also need to be willing to travel regularly and periodically overnight to support sites and attend meetings.
