Job Summary
MTrec Recruitment is seeking a skilled Assembly Production Specialist to join our team in the Spennymoor area. As a key member of our distribution and warehouse department, you will be responsible for manually loading vans with completed products, following picking lists, and cross-referencing against products prior to loading.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily toolbox talks with supervisors to ensure seamless operations
- Main role will be based within the distribution and warehouse department, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills
- Manually load vans with completed products, adhering to quality control standards
- Follow picking lists and cross-reference against products to ensure accuracy
- Work independently but under the supervisor's guidance, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Measure materials prior to dispatch, using a tape measure to ensure products meet quality standards
- Hand assemble a variety of components, requiring attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Conduct quality inspections of a range of components, ensuring high-quality products
- Develop working knowledge of all production departments and understand the systems used
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong understanding of quality control processes
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills on the job, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Confidence in your abilities and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Ability to work overtime, including Saturday mornings and evenings, due to the pressing nature of the role
