Principal Appian Developer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure software development adheres to IT quality, plan, and procedures.
  • Undertake efficient software development using good design and implementation methodologies.
  • Perform unit testing to verify developed software meets requirements.
  • Attend workshops/reviews/stand-ups to discuss development projects, demonstrate progress, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain software releases and patches in accordance with agreed policies and procedures, providing out-of-hours support when required.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements, including 2 days in the office/onsite per month.

Essential Experience:

  • Significant experience working as a Software Engineer.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of waterfall, iterative, and agile approaches to software delivery.
  • A good knowledge of database design and working SQL is desirable.
