At Héroux-Devtek Inc., we are seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies that drive long-term improvements in Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in supply chain or commodity management, with a strong commercial awareness and cost management skills. You will be proficient in ERP systems' supply chain functionality, as well as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and other relevant software. Excellent interpersonal skills and a drive to develop new skills are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing commodity strategies to drive long-term improvements in Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance
• Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms & conditions with suppliers
• Managing the storage and transportation of commodities to ensure optimal logistics
• Monitoring market trends and developments to inform procurement decisions
• Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Long Term Agreements (LTAs) to secure long-term profitability
