Job Title: Structural Engineer / Head of Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to lead and manage the engineering department at The Highfield Company.

As the Head of Engineering, you will oversee all technical aspects of structural design and installation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will play a crucial role in delivering complex architectural metalwork projects and act as the key technical point of contact for clients, Contracts Managers, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership and ensure that all designs meet safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Oversee the production of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct structural calculations and risk assessments to ensure the integrity of designs.
- Support in project planning, budgeting, and resourcing to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements:

- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, SolidWorks).
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
