Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Recovery Nurse to join our Theatre team in an award-winning private hospital in Aberdeen. As a Recovery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth recovery of patients after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality post-operative care to patients, monitoring their recovery and providing necessary support.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Make informed decisions with autonomy and support, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Provide education and training to colleagues and students, promoting best practices in recovery care.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration and evidence of relevant clinical professional development.
  • 12 months experience in a theatre setting, with a strong understanding of recovery care principles.
  • Awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability and relevant clinical professional development.
