We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Tate & Harriss - Property Recruitment. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Property Manager in the day-to-day management of our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of 150 properties, ensuring timely and efficient handling of all property-related tasks.
  • Conduct viewings with prospective tenants, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth viewing experience.
  • Act as a point of contact for ongoing client care, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and polite manner.
  • Liaise with customers and clients to ensure their needs are met, providing regular updates and communication.
  • Handle daily enquiries via calls, emails, and visits, providing accurate and timely information to clients and customers.
  • Arrange inventory check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all properties are accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Oversee snagging issues at the beginning of tenancies, ensuring all properties are ready for occupation.
  • Deal with day-to-day property maintenance issues and queries, working closely with our maintenance team to resolve any problems.
  • Organize renewal of safety certificates and remedial works during tenancies, ensuring all properties comply with relevant legislation.
  • Carry out mid-term property visits, ensuring all properties are being maintained to a high standard.
  • Manage the end of tenancy process, including the return of deposits and ensuring all properties are prepared for re-letting.
  • Deal with tenancy agreements and renewal paperwork, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Comply with all current legislation affecting the business, ensuring our property management practices are compliant and up-to-date.
  • Ensure all management systems are kept up to date and maintained, providing accurate and timely reporting to our Property Manager.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years' experience in property management, with a strong understanding of the lettings process.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A good understanding of the lettings offer process and the ability to confidently put offers to clients.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to clients and customers.
  • The ability to work in a busy environment as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Strong organization skills and a meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a proactive approach, with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to clients and customers.
