We are seeking a skilled SEND School Tutor to join our team of dedicated educators. This role involves working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist Year 5/6 ARP class.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants to provide consistent support.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic development, helping students build confidence and independence.
  • Attend CPI Safety Intervention training to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND or ARP settings.
  • Experience working with students with autism and SEMH needs at the primary level.
  • Strong behaviour management skills with an empathetic and consistent approach.
  • Ability to commit fully through to the end of the academic year.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
