Job Summary

We are seeking an Employment Lawyer with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience to join our team. As a key member of our employment law team, you will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including day-to-day employment advice, contentious matters, and Employment Tribunal claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, contracts, policies, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy.
  • Provide day-to-day employment and HR advice to clients, including telephone and written advice to managers, HR, and senior executives/Board level.
  • Conduct investigations and advise on disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Conduct negotiations and draft settlement agreements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clients and supervise more junior fee earners.
Requirements
  • Experience of Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to build client relationships.
