The Post:

NSS seeks a Business Information Analyst to provide expert analysis and advice on IM&T issues and solutions to inform the development and implementation of a continuous quality improvement strategy for networks. The postholder will be part of a team delivering a high-quality data, analytical, and support service to national managed clinical and diagnostic networks, specialist services, and screening programmes across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert analysis and advice on IM&T issues and solutions
  • Inform the development and implementation of a continuous quality improvement strategy for networks
  • Deliver a high-quality data, analytical, and support service to national managed clinical and diagnostic networks, specialist services, and screening programmes
  • Provide administrative line management to a team of data analysts
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level
  • Appropriate work experience in a relevant role within the NHS environment
  • Knowledge of analytical reporting tools such as Business Objects (BOXI) and visualisation software such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Standard office software skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Power Platform
Location and Working Pattern:

Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently hybrid working.
