Financial Accountant Senior

Join Global Accounting Network as a Financial Accountant Senior and be a key part of our finance team. As a Financial Accountant Senior, you will work closely with internal and external auditors, leading the monthly and annual financial reporting. You will assist with financial statements and statutory returns, and work on future accounting projects such as a Finance Systems Implementation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance team in preparing financial statements and statutory returns.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures.
- Provide technical accounting knowledge and advice to the business.
- Write accounting papers for senior management.
- Work closely with the finance team to review and improve accounting systems and reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
- External audit background highly desirable.
- Experience in a financial accounting role, preparing statutory accounts under IFRS.
- Experience with IFRS 16, leasing.
- Natural leadership ability, with the desire to step into people management.
