We are dedicated to supporting disabled candidates and those with long-term conditions or neurodivergent individuals by making reasonable adjustments to our recruitment practices.
This role requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
As a specialist nurse, you will utilize your advanced clinical knowledge to inform decision-making and clinical judgment. You will provide specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team on patient management, assessment, treatment, and review planning in partnership with patients and carers.
You will also provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives.
Support the development of the service to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff.
