About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our team at Vistry East Anglia. As a Telehandler, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift truck to unload, store, and distribute materials on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure site safety by adhering to health and safety requirements and reporting any breaches or defects.
  • Maintain safe access to working areas and inspect the fork lift truck daily/weekly as required.
  • Erect and maintain site safety signage and monitor traffic and pedestrian segregation.
  • Secure any hazards each evening prior to leaving site and provide basic first aid if required.
  • Provide cover for the Site Manager as needed and ensure material segregation in accordance with the site waste management plan.
  • Receive, store, secure, and distribute materials using the fork lift to working and storage areas, minimizing loss or damage.

Requirements

  • Trained Plant Operator CPCS Card – Telescopic Handler – All sizes Exec 360 Slew – Category A17 Endorsement C.
  • First aid appointed person and full UK driving license.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Materials Controller/Forklift Operator or trades person.
  • Resourceful and capable of using own initiative, with excellent time keeping and attendance record.
  • Able to work effectively and safely under pressure, representing the Company professionally at all times.
