Job Title: Litigation Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our specialist property litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contentious property litigation matters, with expertise in service charges, ground rent debt recovery, breaches of covenant, and general Landlord & Tenant matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex and varied caseload in the County Court and First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance to team members.
  • Deliver training on relevant areas of law to support the growth and development of junior staff.
  • Maintain effective case management, including diarising key dates and updating database notes.
  • Regularly report to clients and/or agents as required.
  • Write legal articles for publication as requested.
Requirements:
  • Circa 8+ years PQE with experience in service charges and ground rent debt recovery (residential and commercial).
  • Experience in commercial property litigation, breaches of covenant, and general Landlord & Tenant matters is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, providing supervision and guidance to team members.
  • Experience in delivering training on relevant areas of law.
  • Commitment to business performance and delivery of high-quality service to clients.
  • Compliance with professional standards and regulatory body requirements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues to support business growth.
