Teaching Assistant Role in a Primary Setting

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Education Support Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. This is a long-term opportunity starting as a floating Teaching Assistant for KS1 and KS2 children.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant qualification or higher and at least one year's experience working with children in a school setting. They will be expected to cover classes in the absence of a teacher, lead small group and large group interventions, and provide support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Covering classes in the absence of a teacher
  • Leading small group and large group interventions
  • Providing support to students as needed
Requirements:
  • Level 2+ Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
  • At least one year's experience working with children in a school setting
  • Safeguarding training (preferred but not required)

  • Minimum rate of pay: £95 per day (£18,410 per annum based on 190 days)
