Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:

We are recruiting Maintenance Engineers for our client, a leading food manufacturer based in Haverhill. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient maintenance service to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled with electrical or mechanical bias
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
