Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Haverhill, Suffolk. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient maintenance service to the site, ensuring the rapid restoration of equipment to full operational status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and efficient maintenance service to the site, ensuring the rapid restoration of equipment to full operational status.
- Identify and address root causes of equipment failures to prevent future occurrences.
- Proactively seek and implement cost-effective improvements to site assets and equipment, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the site's equipment and systems.
Requirements:
- Food manufacturing sector experience preferred but not essential.
- Recognised and validated maintenance engineering qualification or certificate training to NVQ Level 3 standard preferred.
- Experience in reactive and preventative maintenance; predictive maintenance experience beneficial but not essential.
- Experience of CAPEX projects beneficial.
- Awareness of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety etc. preferred.
