Data Business Analyst

This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our data platform and data products, working closely with both the data team and senior business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into data-driven solutions. As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between data analytics and business objectives, collaborating with various stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements, identify data-driven insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and objectives.
  • Liaise with data engineers and insights analysts for data discovery and requirement definition.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets, utilizing various tools and techniques.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy throughout the analysis process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.

About You:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  • An understanding of data and ability to investigate complex data lineage and translate this to actions.
  • Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data visualization tools is highly desirable.
