Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers. The successful candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as strong communication and customer service abilities.
About the Role:
- Safely drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations using company vehicles.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully and safely stored.
- FOLLOW DELIVERY ROUTES AND TIME SCHEDULES ACCURATELY TO ENSURE ON-TIME DELIVERIES.
- Maintain delivery vehicle in good working condition to avoid any downtime or safety risks.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately to maintain efficient operations.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher) is required for this position.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential for this position.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and customer service abilities are required to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items is necessary for this physically demanding role.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, are required to meet customer demands.
