Job Description

CV Technical is seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining a high level of site reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, with experience in problem-solving in a high-volume production environment. They will also possess basic knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. A certification in the 18th Edition would be an added advantage.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong engineer looking for their next opportunity within a secure and stable company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, attend meetings, and collaborate with a welcoming team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex technical issues that may impact production.
• Collaborate with the maintenance manager to develop and implement maintenance strategies that ensure minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and best practices in electrical maintenance, and apply this knowledge to improve site reliability and efficiency.
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues that may impact production.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
• Follow the established procurement process when obtaining quotations for spare parts and materials.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £38-43,000 per annum, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
