Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Chemist to join our team at CSG. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of hazardous waste in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute waste collections from client sites and deliver to waste transfer sites for disposal.
- Maintain provision of packing materials on site.
- Assist in providing quotations for customers and ensure all relevant legislation is adhered to.
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Technically assess, segregate, label, and pack waste on client sites with documentation compliant to current UK legislation.
- Compile and maintain lists of hazardous waste needing collection and disposal, producing required documentation and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Collect and load waste onto transport vehicles using material handling equipment, safely driving company vehicles to hazardous waste sites for disposal.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry or a Science-based degree.
- Experience working as a Chemist is desired but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Good customer service skills.
