About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Technical Chemist to join our team at Cleansing Service Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting sustainable waste management practices and ensuring the safe and efficient disposal of hazardous waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and execute waste collections from clients' sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Assist in the provision of packing materials and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Small Collection and administration teams to provide quotations for customers and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures, both on clients' sites and at waste disposal sites.
  • Technically assess, segregate, label, and pack waste on clients' sites, ensuring compliance with current UK legislation.
  • Compile and maintain lists of hazardous waste requiring collection and disposal, producing required documentation and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Load and transport waste onto transport vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient off-loading at disposal sites.
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry or a Science-based degree.
  • Experience working as a Chemist is desired but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role.
