Environmental Sustainability Specialist

The Leidos company, a global leader in science and technology solutions, seeks an experienced Environmental Initiatives Manager to join our UK team. Based in Farnborough and working remotely, this role will be responsible for providing end-to-end DevOps managed environments for internal teams and strategic customers.
About the Role
This position is part of a security-cleared environment based in the UK, where you will work alongside DevOps, Infrastructure, and Network Teams to provide robust sets of environments for critical national infrastructure. Your focus will be on using modern technologies and practices to support business outcomes, including the management and scheduling of all solution environments across multiple security levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop standard ways of working and provide technical expertise to Leidos programme teams.
- Maintain version control of all components, conduct technical checks of applications, and update design and architecture documentation.
- Automate deployment activities to reduce errors and identify/document application dependencies.
Requirements
- Experience in managing sizeable application support contracts and ITIL-based frameworks.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow is an advantage, along with experience in reporting and analysing data to see trends.
- Ability to work with Agile and Scaled Agile deliveries, with experience in asset and configuration management.
