Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our rapidly expanding engineering team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing machines, performing preventative maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on waste recycling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend customer sites to install machines, perform PPM, servicing, and fault-finding on waste recycling equipment.
  • Ensure van stock levels are correct.
  • Perform multiskilled tasks, including hydraulic and electrical systems, electrical fault-finding, and mechanical engineering.
  • Travel to customer sites and work a significant amount of paid overtime.
  • Participate in an on-call rota, with a retainer rate of £100 per weekend, plus payments for hours worked.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and background in mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Previous experience in a mobile/field-based role.
  • Full driving license.
