Vickerstock is partnering with a food manufacturing firm to fill the role of Inventory Controller. This position involves overseeing production activities, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production flow.

  • The estimated salary for this role is up to £30k (negotiation possible)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Two years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to handle large datasets

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets
  • Monitor and work with Purchasing department to manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts, identifying and addressing discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Review sales forecasts and analyze historical demand data to generate accurate production forecasts
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline production planning and inventory management processes
