Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team at Whale Tankers Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing maintenance and repair of vehicles, identifying opportunities for additional work, and ensuring all tools and equipment are calibrated and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of vehicles, either on-site or on location, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and secure opportunities for additional work with our customers to increase revenue and grow our business.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Ensure all tools and equipment are calibrated and van stock is up-to-date to maintain high levels of service quality.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with our service.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to and work within Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for ourselves and our customers.
Requirements
  • Direct Tanker Experience: We are looking for skilled engineers with direct tanker experience or transferable skills from other sectors.
  • Vehicle Electrics: Experience with vehicle electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanical maintenance is essential.
  • Fault Finding Skills: Excellent fault finding skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Communication: Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
