Location: UK
Forklift Maintenance Technicians are required to undertake the repair and maintenance of industrial, agricultural, and warehousing trucks and ancillary equipment. This will ensure maximum profitability and return.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake fault diagnosis to identify reported breakdowns
- To ensure all damage and faults are highlighted to customers and recorded accurately on appropriate company documentation
- To provide a professional, efficient, and responsive service support to customers by maintaining and repairing materials handling equipment to the highest standard while observing Health and Safety regulations at all times
- To accurately complete all paperwork required within the role, including servicing sheets, breakdown reports, accident reports, timesheets, and quotes, in a timely fashion
- To work closely with the sales team, informing them of any potential leads and to participate in site surveys and site meetings as and when required
Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualification
- Previous experience within a similar role working on cars, vans, HGV, or agricultural equipment
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Understanding customer needs
